Cancellation/reschedule policy

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, 2 full business days are required (48h), otherwise a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Please note the NDIA requires all clinicians who support NDIS participants to identify this as a cancellation fee and requires information about repeated cancellations and your ability to attend scheduled appointments.

Every effort will be made to fill a late cancellation appointment with indirect client-related work, however indirect client-related work may only be completed within the dedicated appointment time and no earlier or later. Indirect client-related work (in place of sessions) will only be completed if clinically indicated, in line with current speech therapy goals, and agreed upon by both the therapist and the child’s representative.

If 3 or more appointments are cancelled or rescheduled, the child’s regular appointment time may need to be scheduled to a less popular time slot. After-school appointments are particularly popular and so these appointments may need to be forfeited to another child on the services’ waitlist.
